Trusted Data Sharing across Public and Private Sectors in Ireland: Why Data Spaces Matter

Data Spaces Alliance Ireland (DSAI) in collaboration with Rinn Artificial Intelligence are hosting a free public event on Tuesday the 29th September to explore the world of trusted data sharing between Ireland’s public and private sectors.
This event aims to establish a shared understanding of why trusted and interoperable data sharing has become a strategic necessity for Ireland and how Data Spaces provide the technical, business and organisational framework to enable it. The event seeks to align public and private stakeholders on the policy, trust, and technical foundations required for sectorial and cross-sectorial data sharing as well as identify challenges and opportunities specific to the Irish context in the public sector, health, energy, mobility, and agriculture, and outline concrete next steps to support the development of scalable, trustworthy data spaces in Ireland.
Attendees will hear from panel discussions on ‘Policy, Trust, and Market Reality for Data Sharing in Ireland’ and ‘Early Experiences of Data Spaces and Data Sharing Challenges in Ireland’ and discover why sharing data securely is a gamechanger and how it can boost innovation and collaboration.
