Taking Climate Action: the Rinn Network at the National Ploughing Championships

The Research Ireland stand at the National Ploughing Championships will this year been showcasing the Rinn Network. Taking place over three days, the 15th – 17th September at Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland, the Research Ireland stand will be part of the Government of Ireland presence at the Ploughing.  

Under the theme of ‘Taking Climate Action’ teams of researchers from Rinn Artificial   Intelligence, Rinn Energy and Rinn Pharma & Biopharma will explore some of their leading research and innovation in this space. From understanding the energy used by AI enabled platforms to the energy generating potential of waves the teams will have different interactive demonstrations at the stand each day.  

Research Ireland will also have team members on site at the Ploughing to talk about the Research in Ireland Barometer 2026, a national project designed to understand how people across Ireland experience research in their everyday lives.
